Delete Your Account

You have the right to delete your account and all your data at any time. Here's how.

Before you delete: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. If you're having a problem with the app, consider contacting support@dobros.cloud first β€” we may be able to help.

How to Delete Your Account

There are two ways to delete your DobrOS account. The fastest is directly from the app.

  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap Account
  4. Tap Delete Account
  5. Confirm your decision

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems within 30 days:

Journal EntriesAll journal content you have written

What we may retain: We may retain certain data for a limited period if required by law (e.g., financial/tax records for 10 years under Czech law). We will also retain anonymized, non-identifiable aggregate statistics that cannot be linked back to you. Any retained data will be minimal and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

This process is provided under GDPR Article 17 β€” Right to Erasure ("Right to be Forgotten").

Request Account Deletion by Email

If you cannot access the app, request deletion by email. Send the request from the email address linked to your DobrOS account so we can verify your identity.

Open deletion email

If the button does not open your email app, write to privacy@dobros.cloud with the subject line Account deletion request and your registered email address.

Timing: After identity verification, personal data is erased within 30 days. We may keep an anonymised deletion record for 3 years for security audit and to prove completion of the request. This record contains no identifying personal data.
Questions? Contact us at privacy@dobros.cloud β€” we aim to respond within 5 business days. You also have the right to file a complaint with the Czech data protection authority (ÚOOÚ) if you feel your data rights are not being respected.
